Curbside Leaf Collection for Do-It-Yourself Clients
Clients, who want to remove the leaves from their yard themselves, can take advantage of our fall curbside leaf collection. Some homeowners prefer to do their own raking or blowing during the fall, but then they are left with piles of leaves and nowhere to put them.
For our DIY clients, we offer curbside leaf collection to aid them in getting rid of their leaves. Our service includes loading the leaves, using our high-powered debris loader, into a trailer and hauling them away to a waste or compost site.
To take advantage of our curbside leaf collection services, two steps need to be followed.
Step 1 - Prepare the Leaves for Pickup
In order for our curbside leaf collection services to function in the most efficient manner possible, do-it-yourself clients will need to properly prepare leaves for pickup.
- Leaves should be gathered in an area at the edge of the driveway/road.
- Leaves should be gathered in a pile no larger than 6'.
- Leaves gathered into a ditch will be charged more, as it is more difficult for our machine to retrieve these leaves.
- Leaves should never be gathered over gravel, which can have an adverse effect on our equipment.
Step 2 - Schedule Your Curbside Leaf Pickup
Once your leaves are ready for pickup, give us a call at (414) 431-1757. We usually retrieve leaves during our regular operating hours of Monday-Friday, weather permitting. We work your house into our established route as efficiently as possible.
Clients can also schedule a curbside leaf pickup in advance. We prefer to do several small pickups versus one large pickup. It breaks the raking time up for the client. while allowing us to pick up leaves from several homes in one route.
Multiple curbside leaf pickups do not cost you any extra money! They are simply an easier way of scheduling your leaf removal services.
Details About Our Full-Service Leaf Removal
Depending on your property and the number of trees that are on it, we usually schedule your full-service leaf removal over two or more sessions. At your initial fall cleanup session, we will remove any leaves that have already fallen. Typically during this time, it is still early fall and very few leaves have fallen.
We use a combination of tarps, rakes, and blowers to ensure all the leaves are properly gathered and disposed of. We schedule all of our full-service leaf removals based on current and future weather forecasts. Some fall seasons see winter weather early, meaning full-service leaf removal sessions can be cut short for that season.
Because of there being multiple full-service leaf removal sessions, clients are charged by the number of hours worked on a fall cleanup project, and not for any hours missed out due to weather conflicts.
