The Beautiful Blooms Proven Process

We make it simple for you to enjoy a beautiful landscape! Our tried and true process is easy to follow and ensures that you receive the best experience and results possible.

Step 2:

We will respond to your request within two business days.

Step 3:

A member of our team will arrange a time that fits your schedule for a walkthrough at your location to learn more about your goals, needs, and budget.

Step 4:

Following the walkthrough, we will create a custom quote for your maintenance services and/or packages and send it to you the next business day. If you require a landscape design, the timelines may extend beyond one business day.

Step 5:

Once you have reviewed the quote, had your questions answered, and signed-off on the plan, we will schedule your services.

Our History

Established in 2001, Beautiful Blooms was formed by combining Loriena Harrington’s entrepreneurial spirit with her dream of offering professional landscaping services to homeowners in Wisconsin.

Loriena’s landscaping experience began with mowing lawns at age 11, progressed to working as a caddy at a local country club, extended to completing golf course superintendent internships as part of her training at the University of Minnesota and climbing the ranks at private clubs in Minnesota and Colorado, and culminated in working as an independent contractor performing estate gardening. It was this last experience that established Loriena’s passion for being a business owner, and Beautiful Blooms became a reality.

Over the past decades, Beautiful Blooms has grown into a thriving, woman-led business that is a proud member of the Wisconsin and Illinois Landscape Contractor Associations and has played an active role on the NALP Women’s Facebook group to encourage other women to explore opportunities within the landscaping industry.

Loriena Harrington

Loriena Harrington, our President, Co-Owner, and Turf Science and Horticulturalist, is a visionary leader with a passion for excellence. With a BS in Horticulture and Turf from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Landscape Business Management, Loriena’s expertise is unparalleled. She is a Landscape Industry Certified Manager and was awarded Woman Landscape Entrepreneur of the Year 2021. Loriena’s adventurous spirit extends beyond the office, with hobbies including biking, alpine skiing, and traveling. She credits the Girl Scouts with her first lesson in sales. Loriena is a stalwart member of our team, guiding our success and growth since the company’s inception in 2001.

Dana Pelzer

Dana D. Pelzer is a dynamic force within our organization, serving as our Horticulturalist, Production Manager, and Co-Owner. With a double major in Agronomy & Horticulture and certifications as a Landscape Industry Certified Technician, Dana brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Whether she’s hiking, camping, training her two aussies Skye and Summit for various competitions and certifications, or photographing the great outdoors, Dana’s adventurous spirit is an inspiration to us all. Her favorite food is dill pickles! Dana is a loyal and dedicated member of our team, guiding our success and growth since 2018.

Michelle Lewinski

Michelle is the core of our office, serving as our Human Resources Manager, Office Manager, and Co-Owner. Since joining us, Michelle has been instrumental in fostering a positive and productive work environment. With a passion for baseball and a love for her children, Michelle brings warmth and efficiency to our workplace. Her favorite food is pasta. Michelle shares her home with two beloved dogs: Cooper, a Springer Spaniel, and Salchicha, a Dachshund. She is a loyal and dedicated member of our team, contributing her talents and leadership since 2016.

Erik Desotelle

 Erik is not only one of our Arborists but also serves as our Sales and Account Manager. With a BS in Urban Forestry from UWSP and a minor in Economics, Erik brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his dual role. Outside of work, Erik enjoys model building, tabletop games, gardening, and fixing stuff. He is a trusted member of our management team, contributing his expertise since 2023.

Jennifer Gelinskey

Jen, our Certified Arborist and Plant Health Care Manager, is a seasoned professional with a passion for the outdoors. With an AS in Urban Forestry from Mid-state Tech and an ISA Certified Arborist certification, Jennifer is dedicated to ensuring the health and vitality of our plant life. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, biking, and traveling. Jennifer is a loyal and dedicated member of our team, sharing her expertise and leadership since 2021.
